Calaveras Countywide Water, Rangeland, & Forestry Management Plan

The Calaveras Planning Coalition had Calaveras County Supervisor Cliff Edson to make a presentation on his countywide range and forestry management proposal at its Brown Bag session on November 3 in San Andreas.

Edson’s proposal is now a countywide plan that includes managing  the upcountry forest lands for water supply.  He explained this at a meeting with representatives from MyValleySprongs.com.

He is now seeking a planning grant through the Council of Governments.

Cliff presented a short slide show to CPC and others. Comments, questions came from representatives of CSERC, the Foothill Conservancy, CPC and those individuals in attendance that have important interests and well developed positions on forest and range management.
