Water Summit hosted by CCWD

On Thursday, January 23, 2014, the Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) is hosting a “Water-Forest” Forum. The purpose of the forum is to “determine the feasibility of a demonstration project to address whether forest management practices in the Sierra can contribute to improved water yield….”  The public is invited to observe the panel discussion.

The forum will take place at the San Andreas Town Hall, 24 Church Hill Road, San Andreas. It will begin at 9:30 am and adjourn at 2:30 pm. A light lunch will be provided, so please RSVP:  Mona Walker at (209) 754-3028,
