Support Mokelumne River Wild & Scenic in Amador
Step up for the Moke:
Amador supervisors to review
Wild and Scenic bill Tuesday
Please ask the Amador County Board of Supervisors to support SB 1199 (Hancock), which would designate the Mokelumne a state Wild and Scenic River from Salt Springs Dam to Pardee Reservoir. The board will discuss the legislation in a special meeting on Tuesday, April 14 at 9 am in the County Administrative Building in Jackson.
If you can, please come to the meeting and speak up for the Moke! We need to show the supervisors they are wrong as they continue to claim that only a few local people support Wild and Scenic designation.
