Sawmill Lake Project Appeal to be heard.

Discussion and possible action to sign a RESOLUTION for denial without prejudice of the Sawmill Lake Project in its entirety.

Sawmill Lake, the controversial Copperopolis development project, will be presented to county supervisors at the Tuesday, Feb. 26, Board of Supervisors meeting, held in the Supervisors Chambers, 891 Mountain Ranch Road in San Andreas.

At 1:30 p.m., a public hearing is scheduled to discuss the proposed 243-acre development, which was voted down by the county Planning Commission in a 3-2 vote in December. It will go before supervisors for possible final action regarding the master planned community’s future. The Sawmill Lake application is available for review at the county’s Planning Department in San Andreas, 891 Mountain Ranch Road. Copies of the project file and staff report can also be purchased for the cost of making copies. Get Sawmill Documents Here
