Community Action Project has been participating regularly in the local public discourse via Letters to the Editor in local newspapers.

These Letters are written by local community members looking to express and influence opinion in their communities. Keep your finger on the pulse of local opinion by reading them yourself! Links provided below.

Our recent Letters (sometimes printed with different titles) were:
“Be Proud of Democracy and Participate” (June) – Following low voter turnout, we encouraged readers to be thankful for democracy and provided resources to get involved.
“May is Wildfire Awareness Month” (May) – Promoting wildfire awareness, we encouraged readers to take their home wildfire defensible space seriously and provided resources to do so.
