Copperopolis Community Plan Town Hall Meeting Scheduled for July 27

NOTICE OF SECOND 2023 COPPEROPOLIS
COMMUNITY PLAN TOWN HALL MEETING

THE ARMORY IN COPPEROPOLIS 777 ANTELOPE STREET,COPPEROPOLIS, CA 95228

Calaveras County District 4 Supervisor Amanda Folendorf and the Calaveras County
Planning Department invite members of the community and the general public to a
community town hall meeting on the proposed Copperopolis Community Plan on
Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 6 pm, at the Armory in Copperopolis. The Armory is located
at 695 Main Street, Copperopolis. The first town hall meeting was held on May 25,
2023 at the Saddle Creek Club House due to a fire behind the armory building.

The purpose of the community town hall meeting is to discuss the comments received
on the draft Community Plan which was posted on the County website at Draft Copper
Community Plan 05 26 23.pdf (calaverasgov.us) and for which comments were
received.

At this meeting, we will build on the draft Community Plan by incorporating
comments received with the goal of arriving at a community plan that is consistent with
the format and contents of the other Community Plans that have been included in the
County’s General Plan, and which is consistent with the wishes of the members of the
Copperopolis Community.
