Scrapped general plan unlikely to see light of day

Calaveras County officials have denied at least two Public Records Act requests – one from the Calaveras Planning Coalition and one from the Calaveras Enterprise – to access the draft general plan produced between 2006 and 2011 by the Mintier-Harnish planning consultant firm at a cost of more than $900,000. Planning Director refuses to let the Planning Commission hear CAP/CPC appeal on release of Minitier General Plan

On December 18, the CPC filed an appeal with the Fawn McLaughlin, chair of the Planning Commission, to review Planning Director Maurer’s decision to censor the Mintier General Plan.  On December 21, Director Maurer refused to let the appeal go forward to the Planning Commission.  You can read the appeal and Director Maurer’s response on this website .  Read More

Developer will not pay for improvements to Olive Orchard Road

Calaveras County throws out the 2010 Mintier General Plan

Calaveras County denies CPC’s public records request for the Mintier General Plan. Calaveras Planning Coalition requests copy of Mintier General Plan
