Lake Tulloch residents concerned environmental rules could drain reservoir

The elephant is back

National parks across the country are gearing up to celebrate the centennial of the National Park Service in 2016. In honor of this anniversary, Yosemite has designated 10 signature projects designed to enhance the visitor experience. Friends of the River and Foothill Conservancy today announced their opposition to Assembly Bill 142 (Bigelow, R-O’Neals), which calls for yet another taxpayer-funded study before the Mokelumne River could be protected with state Wild and Scenic River designation.
