CAP Receives Cash Grant from the Teichert Foundation

CAP recently received word that it has been awarded a $3000 grant from the Sacramento-based Teichert Foundation.  This is the second year in a row that Teichert has offered support for CAP’s sponsorship of the Calaveras Planning Coalition.  This year these funds are designated for continuing the work of the Coalition and expanding beyond our borders to partner with folks doing similar work in Amador County.  Both counties are in General Plan update processes and the issues for each county are similar.

In the award letter received by CAP, Fred Teichert, Executive Director of the Foundation, states “We are happy to support the work of the Community Action Project and wish you much success.”
