CAP/CPC Receive Sixth Grant Award from the Clif Family Foundation
The Community Action Project and the Calaveras Planning Coalition are grateful for another year of funding from the Clif Family Foundation. This is our sixth year of funding from the foundation whose purpose is “to support small-to-midsize grassroots groups led by people whose vision and commitment we deeply admire. We have been proud to support hundreds of organizations that are working tirelessly to strengthen our food system, advance equitable community health outcomes, and protect the places we play by being stewards of our environment and natural resources.” To learn more please visit: https://cliffamilyfoundation.org/.
When informing the CAP Governing Committee of the grant award, foundation representative Carrie Walle wrote, “Among the hundreds of proposals we received, your organization stood out as one that will offer social and environmental change. We know that current events have altered the way many of you do your important work and we are inspired by your extraordinary resilience and compassion. Thank you for continuing to fulfill your mission.”
CAP and the Coalition offer heartfelt thanks to the Clif Family Foundation for their support and their belief in our mission. With the generous support of private foundations like Clif and our many members and friends in the community who responded so generously to our recent solicitation, we can continue to protect our rural environment by promoting citizen participation in sustainable land use planning. Thanks, again, and Happy Holidays!
