CA seeking input on homeless needs
HOME-American Rescue Plan Program HCD needs your input on homelessness needs within your community Take our survey and attend a focus group The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) will soon announce $131 million in HOME-American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding to assist individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations, by providing funding for housing, rental assistance, supportive services, and non-congregate shelters. HCD invites you to share your thoughts by taking a survey. The survey is designed to gather information from stakeholders and community members about homelessness needs in your community and HOME-ARP eligible projects being planned. This survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and will be available until March 28, 2022. Take HOME-ARP Community Survey HCD will also be holding three virtual focus groups to gather the following information:· Identify unmet needs and gaps in housing or service delivery systems· Determine the HOME-ARP eligible activities HCD should undertake· What HCD should consider in the HOME-ARP program design and implementation |
