Butte Fire Fundraiser

To all CUSD Stakeholders,

Our communities are coming together to assist those who have been severely impacted by the Butte fire. A group of dedicated volunteers from Amador, Calaveras & Tuolumne Counties have organized an event called Rock â??N Relief – held at the beautiful and historic Kennedy Mine in Jackson on Thursday, October 22, from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
Admission is FREE to encourage all those that can come to the event, whether you can donate or not, as we want all those affected personally to come enjoy this night.
Because most of the devastation took place in Calaveras County, the overwhelming majority of the proceeds of this fund will go to Calaveras residents.

This will be an evening of music and comedy from local bands & comedians with food and drink to purchase – along with amazing raffles and auctions, all to raise as much funds as possible to grow the Butte Fire Disaster Relief Fund that the Amador Community Foundation has set up for us, completely tax deductible.
The need is great and we hope you will join us in playing a role in helping our friends and neighbors in need by coming to support this great event and making Rock â??N Relief a smashing success.  Thank you!
