Board of Supervisors give OK to housing plan update

The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to accept minor updates to the county’s housing element.

No significant changes or updates were made from the previous county housing element, which was approved in 2010, but the Planning Department, which reviewed the document, called for the hiring of a housing coordinator to implement provisions of the plan.
