Asphalt Plant Update.

On August 13, Ford and CB Asphalt’s appeal of the Hazardous Materials/ CUP requirement was heard by the Planning Commission. After 5-1/2 hours of testimony and discussion, commissioners asked for more information & analysis, and continued the appeal hearing to Sept. 10. On Sept. 10, information requested of the appellant had not yet been received, so the hearing was continued to Oct. 8. On Oct. 8, information still had not been received, so the Ford/CB appeal hearing was again continued. The continued Ford asphalt plant-hazardous materials appeal hearing is scheduled for November 19.
