Forest Service: Staggering 66 million dead trees in California. 700,000 dead in Calaveras.

Twelve million trees across California recently have died from a lethal mix of bugs and long-term drought. Needle-covered trees are unable to secrete the sticky resin to fight off bark beetle infestations. We absolutely see this in our Sierra Nevada forests.
