Just got confirmation that Northern California Legal Services is offering pro-bono (free) work for victims of the Butte Fire. Their Mother Lode office is in Auburn, but they refer you to lawyers in this area. Great resource for folks dealing with landlord-tenant issues and other legal decisions — not counting lawsuits over blame of Butte Fire. Consider passing on this info for your affected friends.
