General Plan Action Alert! Comment Deadline Friday March 20.
- The end of the 90-day public review and comment period for the 2014 draft General Plan is this Friday. Your comments need to be submitted by then to be included in the Planning Department report to the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission. All plan documents and maps can be viewed on the County’s General Plan Update page. All Community Plans have been removed but could be put back in if there is enough community and Supervisor support. Let Planning and your Supervisor know you don’t want your community plan thrown away!
Planning Department Announcement Calaveras County Draft General Plan “Comment period closes Friday, March 20, 2015 The 90-day review period for the draft General Plan ends on March 20, 2015. Comments may be submitted to: Peter Maurer, Planning Director 891 Mountain Ranch Road San Andreas, CA 95249 Or by e-mail to: gpupdate@co.calaveras.ca.us All written comments received by 4:00 p.m. on March 20, 2015 will be compiled and included in a report to the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors. A joint meeting of the commission and board will be scheduled in April to begin the public hearings on the draft general plan.
