Amador County Supes oppose Wild & Scenic, again

Note:  The California Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Water is holding a hearing next Tuesday, April 29, at 9:00 am on Sen. Loni Hancock’s SB 1199 to designate the Mokelumne River a state Wild and Scenic River. The bill must pass out of this committee in order for it to proceed through the legislative process.

Please join Foothill Conservancy and Friends of the River for this important hearing. After testimony, supporters of the bill can tell the committee “I support SB1199.” As the people who visit, enjoy and love the Moke, those few words will send a big message to committee members.
