A Closer Look at Compost Tea

What is compost tea?  How is it used?  How is it made?  What can it do for your garden or farm?  You’ll be learning a lot more than this when Adina Nance of GroGreen Organics presents on August 17.

We will have microscopes to look at the little critters in the compost tea and also compost samples.

Please bring samples of your compost so we can get a good look at the soil food web in your compost.

We hope to have a video of the process, equipment for people to look at, and of course plenty of discussion time.

Adina Nance, of Gro Green Organics will tell you about her systems that are available locally for sale.

Location: The office of Cooper Kessel Architecture, 13949 Mono Way at Cordelia Rd., just up from the Junction in Boulder Plaza.

Foothill Plant Medicine Collective:

Flower Essence Making is Here!

Workshop with Diane Swanson
This workshop on Flower Essence Making will be held August the 18th in Sonora and may include a hike (destination yet to be determined).

This will be an introductory workshop 1 day for only $60.00 (only $15.00 more if you wish to have one or two personal stock bottles of the demonstration flower essence to take home.)

If this workshop sparks your interest and you desire to go in depth about flower essence making and use, more workshops will follow.

With the dry summer the amount of bloom at even the 8000′  elevation is uncertain so for this class we may gather the flower essence from a local garden rather than  a hike.

A minimum of 10 people are needed to pre-registar for the class to proceed.  Diane Swanson is the teacher.

Exact time and address will be sent out upon receipt of registration.
Checks will be returned if the minimum is not reached.

Send registration to Cynthia Sudduth,PO Box 323 Vallecito CA 95251 ASAP.

This is an independently produced event.  Focus is not responsible for it’s content or conduct.
