New Statewide Septic Systems Policy

New Statewide Septic Systems Policy: “Approximately 2% of existing small onsite septic systems will be affected.” A final draft of the policy is posted for public review on the State Water Board OWTS web page, along with instructions for submitting comments, more information, and a Map Tool to help determine whether you may be affected by the new policy. The State Water Board hearing is 9 a.m. Wednesday May 2 in Sacramento. Written comments must be received by 12:00 noon on Friday May 4, 2012.
