CAP Fundraiser in Bay Area Looks at Urban-Rural Connections – January 26, 2014

On January 26, 2014 CAP will be holding a fundraiser in the Oakland studio of artist John Lewis. A tour of John’s creations of architectural, and art glass will be followed by a discussion of the importance in protecting precious natural resources in the Sierra regions. CAP and Planning Coalition members will talk about the work of CAP and CPC in protecting the natural resources in Calaveras County, including oak woodlands, working landscapes, watersheds, and Alpine forests. You will learn how the Central Sierra provides a wealth of  resources and ecosystem resources to the urban areas of California.
