CAP attends local community resilience event

Networking and good will were garnered for CAP last weekend at a seed-sharing, community resilience, and family fun gathering at Thirteen Sisters Farm in Mokelumne Hill.

The gathering featured several local farms coming together to trade and share successful varieties of plants that grow well in the region, as well as local craft artisans offering cottage food goods, carpentry, jewelry, and ceramics.

CAP’s Outreach Coordinator hosted a table at the event, informing of CAP’s history and role in the community as well as upcoming, relevant land planning concerns like the Zoning Ordinance Update.

Participants reacted with warmth and gratitude for CAP’s cause and the work of our volunteers, and several signed up for our email list.

Thanks to everyone in attendance and welcome to the CAP network, newcomers!
