• Illegal Cannabis Grows Eradicated. Many illegal marijuana grows have been eradicated recently by Calaveras County deputies and code compliance officers. Read, “Authorities crack down on marijuana grows, arrest one” (Union Democrat, May 26), and “One arrested, thousands of cannabis plants confiscated this week” (Calaveras Enterprise, May 26).
