AB 142 passes out of Senate Appropriations Committee on 5-0 vote
On Thursday, August 27, the Senate Approrpriations Committee passed AB 142 (Bigelow) on a 5-0 vote. The committee added an amendment to the Legislation requiring the Upper Mokelumne River Watershed Authority to pay 50 percent of the anticipated $250,000 project cost. That amount, $125,000 is significantly higher than amount previously approved by various UMRWA agencies. The bill now proceeds to a vote on the state Senate floor.
