Calaveras Supervisors Meeting: Important Planning Items

Supervisors meeting Tuesday Nov. 13 includes two important planning items (in addition to the RIM hearing):

1) approval of a consultant contract with Raney Planning and Management for $299,960 to complete the General Plan update and prepare the EIR, in 12 months.

2) approval of the Moke Hill Design Guidelines and formation of a Design Review Committee

Agenda item 21, scheduled for 2 p.m., is approval of a resolution adopting
the Mokelumne Hill Design Guidelines and the formation of a Design Review Committee (which the Planning Commission recommended). Link to the documents:

This may be very controversial, as three sitting supervisors have previously
expressed strong opposition to formation of any design review committee. It could be helpful for CPC and other members of the public to show up in
support of the Moke Hill community.

It is a bit difficult to find the Board Agenda on the county website.
