New Medical Center for Valley Springs

On June 9, the Planning Commission approved the Mark Twain Healthcare District application for a new outpatient family medical clinic in Valley Springs, located on the southwest corner of Hwy 26 and Vista del Lago.  The medical clinic is Phase 1 of a two phase development. Phase 2 may include future retail, restaurants, and an assisted living facility.

Clinic buildings have been designed to blend in with the existing natural character of the area and surrounding commercial developments. Ample parking, pedestrian sidewalks, and bike racks will be provided, along with drought-tolerant landscaping and shade trees. All lighting will be downshielded. Caltrans will be improving the Vista del Lago intersection with a traffic signal in the spring of 2017.
